Winter is on its way......
Some of us love the cold winter days so we can snuggle up in our cosy blankets, drinking hot chocolate by the warm fire! I know it is not aways easy keeping little ones indoors when it is cold and rainy so here are a few ideas to keep our kiddies out of mischief in the cold winter weather that is fast approaching.
There are loads of indoor fun ideas such as building huge forts out of cushions and blankets, lego and puzzle building, roasting marshmallows on the fire and dipping them in chocolate, cooking and baking new exciting kiddies recipes, arts and craft activities such as colouring, painting, sand art, scratch boards and more!
Even though it can be cold and wet, let your little ones put on their wellies, rain coats and pop up their umbrellas to have some outdoor winter fun. Let them jump in muddy puddles, dance in the rain and search for all the little winter animals that come out to explore these rainy days.
A lovely idea that I got quite excited about recently is a 'chocolate bomb'! It is a big ball of chocolate filled with chocolate powder and mini marshmallows that you drop into warm milk. Stir it around and voila! A delish cup of hot chocolate for everyone to enjoy. Kiddies love this!
Have fun this Winter and stay warm and cosy!
